Say Cheese! (Chuck E Cheese, that is!)

On April 13, Ethan's actual 4th birthday, Nicole, Michelle, and I took our kids to Chuck E Cheese to let them enjoy some pizza and play time.  I have to say that I love Chuck E Cheese, because it is so contained.  The kids can have a great time without us having to chase them every second.  Plus, they have a cute little toddler area for the little guys!  Below are a few pics of Johnny and his buddy A.J. enjoyed the slides and arcade area at Chuck E Cheese.  =)

A.J. about to go down the slide.

Johnny and A.J. - can you tell that they're going to be trouble together in a few years?

Whack-A-Mole!

A.J.'s turn!

Skee Ball! (They tried!)

Giving it a try...

John thinking, "That was cool! Let's do it again!"

On April 11th, Ethan (my friend Nicole's son), celebrated his 4th birthday at Rollie Pollies in Severna Park.  We had an absolutely fantastic time!  Since John did take gymnastics lessons (I use that phrase loosely, since he's 2- you know what I mean) at Docksiders this past session, he was comfortable with the balance beam and trampoline, etc., that Rollie Pollies has to offer.  He had a great time bouncing, balancing, and hopping around; however, what REALLY got him excited was the zip line!  I have to say that my little boy really impressed me with his ability to hold on all the way to the end.  Below is a short video of John's first ride on a zip line!

Over The Top! (A trip to the circus...)

First off, let me say that I am pretty embarrassed by how long (just over a month to be exact) it has taken me to do this blog.  On April 4th, we were able to go to see Barnum & Bailey's show "Over the Top!"  This was John's first trip to the circus and it was even more memorable because his Oma, Pop Pop, Grandmom, Maw Maw, and Pop joined us.  The show was great, but John's reaction was even better.  We were worried that he might not like it or want to be held, but no!  He wanted his own seat, thank you very much- and he quickly caught on about when to clap!  I'd say this outing was a success.  =)
